This week marks the 41st anniversary of Chez Nous, and we are filled with gratitude. For four decades, you have shared your lives and your celebrations with us, and it is because of your loyal support that our little corner of France in Humble continues to thrive.
Our founder, Chef Brach, believed that a restaurant should never stand still but should always forge ahead, constantly striving to be better while staying true to its heart. That spirit continues to guide us every day as we honor our past and look to the future.
To celebrate this milestone, we invite you to join us this week for a toast. Enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne or raise one of our new fall cocktails or mocktails, which debut this week, as we celebrate together and look ahead to the next 40 years.
And because no celebration is complete without a little fun, we are bringing back one of our favorite traditions: the rooster. Inspired by the French fable of Chanticleer, a magnificent tree outside once struck by lightning was carved into an eight-foot rooster named Chanticleer. Although the original was eventually lost to the elements, The Bar now holds a collection of roosters hidden in plain sight. We invite you to participate in our rooster guessing challenge — take a guess at how many roosters you think are in The Bar. All guesses must be submitted by Saturday, September 27th. The first guest to guess correctly will win a Chef’s Table for two, and the winner will be announced on October 1st.
Looking ahead, our beloved Take & Bake Thanksgiving Feast will be available for preorder in mid-October. These packages sell out every year, and we look forward to being part of your holiday table once again. Our Christmas catering packages will be available beginning December 1st, making it easy to bring a touch of Chez Nous to your family gatherings and office celebrations.
For New Year’s Eve, we are making some exciting changes with two seatings, each offering a four-course menu, valet parking, and a sparkling toast to end the evening in style. Reservations will be opening soon.
From all of us at Chez Nous, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives for the past 40 years. We look forward to welcoming you soon, raising a glass together, and seeing your rooster guesses!
